Biomedical Group Away Day

The Biomedical Electronics away day was held this year at that Historic Dockyards in Portsmouth. The morning consisted of high quality flash presentations by PhD students covering the broad range of research within the groups.The rapid canon fire which saw HMS Victory in battle echoed the quick fire nature of the presentations from the morning and provided a friendly challenge to the students.The afternoon was spent exploring HMS Victory and HMS Warrior and a informative boat tour of the dockyards.Those touring HMS Victory bonded over bumped heads on the low beams! It was a lovely way to get to know people from the different specialisms within the group.
